Smith-Winchester Wins Five 2007 Service Industry Advertising Awards
Smith-Winchester’s Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) include a gold, two silver, and two merit awards in the national competition.

SOUTHFIELD, MISmith-Winchester, a Southfield-based integrated marketing communications / PR firm, has won five national 2007 SIAA awards for work on behalf of two of their clients, Con-way Inc. and Lumen Legal. The awards recognize the creativity and communication accomplishments of the service industry.

Awards for Con-way (NYSE: CNW), a global transportation and logistics services company, were a gold for a magazine ad, a silver for the company’s corporate capabilities brochure, and a merit award for Con-way’s identity manual.

The awards for Lumen Legal, a legal services provider, include a silver for the company’s corporate logo, and a merit award for a sales package.

Winners were chosen from over 2,000 entries received from all 50 states. The entries were judged on creativity, execution, appeal and overall break-through content.

According to Jay Kargula, Smith-Winchester President and CEO, “It was a privilege to play an integral role in the re-branding of both of these companies. Providing marketing tools for industry leaders like Con-way and fast-growing companies such as Lumen Legal inspires some of our best work. We’re honored to have it recognized.”
