Situation:
BrassCraft, a leading
North American Manufacturer of plumbing products, determined that
the proper combination of product and program could achieve significant
market-share gains for its established line of appliance gas connectors.
Goal:
Help BrassCraft become the dominant supplier of
appliance gas connectors to wholesale and retail markets.
Strategy:
Reposition and reintroduce the gas connector product
line to the high-volume retail segment. Smith-Winchester partnered
with the client to create and implement a comprehensive marketing
program, including primary research, line rationalization, packaging,
merchandising, trade advertising, sell-in materials and trade-show
support.
Results:
The rejuvenated product line has achieved dominance
within the industry’s top Big Box DIY retailer, and has
enjoyed double-digit volume gains for three straight years.
